The First Philippine Communication Summit, organized by the PCS and in collaboration with leading academic, research, and professional organizations in the field of communication, will be held on August 30, 2025 (Saturday) at Capitol Commons, Pasig City.

This landmark event aims to bring together key stakeholders—including the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Technical Panel for Communication, Journalism, and Broadcast, industry leaders, professional associations, and communication educators—for a high-level roundtable discussion on the evolving landscape of media and communication education and practice in the Philippines.

In particular, the summit will:

• Discuss current and emerging trends in communication, broadcasting, advertising, film, and advocacy communication;

• Interface with the CHED Technical Panel on its curriculum proposals for communication-related degree programs; and

• Foster dialogue that bridges the gap between academic training and industry practice, ensuring that curricula are in step with the fast-changing communication and media environment.
