The Philippines Communication Society (PCS) recognizes the importance of equipping college students with the necessary skills to translate their communication research into journal articles effectively. This recognition aligns with each higher education institution to produce graduates with appropriate skills to create new knowledge through written, oral, and other higher-order thinking skills. Further, college students must also be given continuous exposure to the communication and media industries to allow them to know what jobs are appropriate for them after graduation.
This one-day lecture workshop organized by the Philippines Communication Society aims to empower college students by equipping them with the necessary skills to translate their communication research into journal articles and exposing them to valuable insights from media and communication practitioners. Through this event, students will be better prepared to publish their academic research and make informed decisions about their future career paths.
